Member-Only Funding – We continue to build national partnerships that provide much-needed funding for Meals on Wheels programs. In 2019, we distributed more than $3.9 million to help our Members expand capacity, fill funding gaps, and feed more seniors. That’s on average $18 back for every $1 spent on dues.

Federal and Grassroots Advocacy Efforts – Not only do we fight for your programs on Capitol Hill, but we also equip members with the tools you need to advocate for more adequate funding at all levels of government. Members benefit from frequent “Washington Update” emails, our newly improved Member Advocacy Center, and our national advocacy campaigns.

National Volunteer Recruitment Efforts – The “America, Let’s Do Lunch™” PSA campaign put Meals on Wheels in the national spotlight, recruiting a whole new generation of volunteers to support your programs and your seniors. 

Member Discount Program – We’ve leveraged the buying power of the entire Meals on Wheels network to deliver huge savings on the products and services you use most. Our latest partnership with Valley, Inc. enables Members to expand meal capacity, choice offerings, and geographic reach through cost-effective meal purchasing and client-direct drop shipments.
